Seawork 2023: Europe’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition

Sean Ashton, our Commercial Director, and Tim Deans, our Operations Director, will be attending the event. This is a great opportunity to increase our knowledge of the marine industry, meet some new people and get a better understanding of how well known Ice Pigging is as an industrial pipe cleaning technology in the marine field.

Being part of an innovative engineering company, Sean and Tim are keen to see what new technology is out there, whether related to Ice Pigging or not. In particular they are looking forward to visiting stands such as the Department for International Trade, Finning UK & Ireland, Society of Maritime Industries and DESMI Proven Technology to name a few.

With Ice Pigging being the more environmentally friendly option for industrial pipe cleaning, through its ability to save water and reduce the use of chemicals, any presentations around sustainability will be of great interest to the team too. They are also scoping out the potential for Nivalis to attend next year’s Seawork as an exhibitor so watch this space.

With much of Nivalis’s business focused on providing Ice Pigging services or equipment to the Ministry of Defence, Sean and Tim are looking forward to networking with any representatives from the MoD’s supply chain partners such as Bae Systems or Babcock. With a number of valve and pump manufacturers in attendance, they will also have the opportunity to meet up with some familiar faces from our own supply chain and hopefully forge new relationships with suppliers of components of interest to Nivalis.
