Martin Herbert - Engineering Director
With over 15 years of experience our Engineering Director, Martin Herbert, was part of the research group at The University of Bristol who were responsible for developing the original Ice Pigging concept. Led by professor Joe Quarini, the inventor of Ice Pigging, Martin and his colleagues took the process of Ice Pigging out of the laboratory and turned it into the useful, practical industrial tool which we use today.
Sean Ashton - Commercial Director
Our Commercial Director, Sean Ashton, has been instrumental in developing Ice Pigging and introducing our products and services into the manufacturing and industrial sectors that we work in today. Sean has an engineering background and has commercial and business development experience in many sectors, including water, chemical and maritime. Sean's experience and expertise has played a pivotal role in focusing Nivalis and therefore Ice Pigging in these manufacturing and industrial areas.

Dom Ash - Technical Director
Continuing our team’s in-depth knowledge of Ice Pigging technology, our CAD & Software Designer Dom Ash assisted in the design of Ice Pigging equipment at ADHQ Engineering. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol which lead to an EngD (Engineering Doctorate) in Ice Pigging, Dom also carried out a year of post doctoral research into Ice Pigging in the Food Industry. He then spent six years with SUEZ before bringing his wealth of knowledge to Nivalis-Tech Limited.
Wojciech Kocaja - Support Engineer
Before joining Nivalis, our support engineer Wojciech Kocaja worked as a Pharmaceutical Water Systems Matter Expert using Ice Pigging technology as an important step in biofilm remediation process on Pharma Water Systems. Wojciech now uses his in-depth knowledge of Ice Pigging technology across different sectors, including the pharmaceutical industry.
Christopher Walsh - Field Engineer
Having worked in engineering for all of his professional career, and as a former Royal Navy WO2 Artificer, our Field Engineer, Christopher Walsh, is able to put his real life experience to work supporting Nivalis customers across the globe.
